What is Copper Creek Patterns? What is Do It Better Yourself Club?

Our business began as the Do It Yourself Better Club (DIBY Club) in 2018. In December 2023, we changed our name to Copper Creek Patterns (CCP) and began transitioning all of our branding, media, and patterns to reflect the name change. You may find references to DIBY Club throughout our site and on our patterns as we continue our transition. Thanks for your patience!

Patterns:

1. What is included with my pattern?

All patterns include a materials list with size charts, fabric recommendations, fabric yardage required, pattern options, and full-color photo tutorial with step-by-step instructions. Patterns also include:

  • Print-at-home PDF pattern files in both women's misses and plus sizes (sizes 00-36)
  • US Letter, A4, and A0 Copy Shop formats
  • No trim pages
  • Size layers so you can print only the sizes you need
  • Complete sewing instruction ebook with our Perfect Fit custom fit adjustment tutorials

2. What is the difference between US Letter, A4, A0, and Projector formats?

We offer three standard formats for our patterns: A0, A4, and US Letter. Some patterns (all of our new releases and some of our more popular legacy patterns) will include a Projector file. 

A0 is ideal for professional printing on a large sheet, perfect for avoiding assembly. A4 is the standard for home printing outside the US and requires piecing together after printing. US Letter serves North American printers and also needs assembly. Projector files, on the other hand, are designed to be projected directly onto fabric, skipping the printing and assembly steps altogether.

3. When will I receive my pattern?  

All digital patterns are instant downloads. As soon as your payment clears you will receive your download link. You can also access this link at any time from the "Account" tab at the top right corner of the website. The download link will also be sent to the email address linked to your account. If you don't receive an email be sure to check your junk or spam. Please allow a few moments for the email to arrive. 

4. How do I print my digital pattern?

Once you open and download the PDF file, save it to your computer. Patterns are formatted to print on US letter (8.5 x 11") and A4. Print at 100% with no scaling. 

5. Can I sell items made with Copper Creek/DIBY Club Patterns?

Yes. You may sell items made with our patterns.  Please do not distribute our patterns without our express, written permission. 

6. I just can't figure out this sewing pattern! Help!

1. It says I don't have an account, but I know I do!

In September 2022, we transferred to a new website host. If you made an account prior to September 9, 2022, you will need to create a new account. Please create a new account here: https://coppercreekpatterns/account/register

2. I made a new account but none of my previous patterns are showing up!

2. I can't remember my password.

Please select the "Forgot Your Password" link under the email and password fields under "Account." Enter the email address associated with your account and a password reset will be emailed to you.
